How we ranked them

Each rink's position comes from its Google rating, weighted by how many reviews sit behind it. A 4.7 from several hundred skaters is a steadier signal than a 5.0 from three, so it ranks higher. Rinks with no rating at all come last.

A rink appears here when its own Google listing says it offers this, so the list is a starting point rather than the full picture. A rink that offers it without saying so will not show up. Nobody pays to be listed or ranked.

Before you go

Rinks share their ice between public skating, hockey, figure skating and lessons, so a rink can be open all day with only a few hours of public skate. Check the session calendar on the rink's website or call ahead, especially on holidays and school breaks.
